Single Leg Calf Raise With Heel Off Step

Equipment Required:

None

To Set Up:

Begin standing with one forefoot on a step, so that your heel is elevated off the floor. Allow the calf muscle to relax so the heel lowers towards the floor.

Bend the knee of the opposite leg to lift the foot from the floor.

To Perform:

Push through your toes and forefoot to elevate your heel. Pause for a moment in the top position, before returning the heel back down.

Perform on both sides.
