Dumbbell Single Leg Calf Raise With Heel Off Step
To Set Up:
Begin standing with one forefoot on a step, so that your heel is elevated off the floor. Allow the calf muscle to relax so the heel lowers towards the floor. Hold a dumbbell in the hand on the same side as this leg.
Bend the knee of the opposite leg to lift the foot from the floor.
To Perform:
Push through your toes and forefoot to elevate your heel. Pause for a moment in the top position, before returning the heel back down.
Perform on both sides.
