This activity program is for people who want to meet the World Health Organisation's (WHO) physical activity guidelines for pregnancy, and want the freedom to develop their own plan.

    Pregnant women who meet the physical activity guidelines:

    • Have reduced pre-eclampsia risk
    • Are more likely to experience healthy weight gain
    • Reduce their risk of complicated delivery, and newborn complications
    • Are less likely to have a pre-term birth
    • Better manage their blood sugar and blood pressure levels
  • Prerequisite Function

    To start this program a baseline level of function is required, including the ability to:

    • Perform repeated sit to stands
    • Perform repeated wall pushups
    • Perform bodyweight romanian deadlifts
    • Independently activate the pelvic floor muscles
  • Equipment Required

    The only equipment required is comfortable exercise appropriate clothing and footwear.
